The Good News Brand: Week 9
We’re in limbo… life after lockdown is starting to become a reality, but we’re not quite there yet.
Whilst in limbo, local businesses need our support to help keep them going; Instagram has released a ‘Supporting Small Businesses’ tag that you can use to tag in your local favourite.
So, as well as featuring our usual Good News Brands, no. 5 in this week’s post is ‘Life After Lockdown’ – featuring a brand that’s shaken up their strategy to get them through limbo.

1) An unexpected helping hand… pet food company Bella & Duke has launched a ‘Lend a Paw’ helpline to support their OAP customers during lockdown. They don’t just want dogs to survive, they want them to thrive, and they feel just the same way about their customers.
2) Badoo’s ‘Love Letter’s to NHS Workers’ is the brands latest campaign that launched this week; for every message shared on the Badoo app, they’ll donate £10 to the NHS COVID-19 appeal. The messaged were being broadcast Piccadilly Circus billboards this week.
3) A beer delivery app developed by Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has initiated nearly £10,000 worth of sales since started on VE Day. Brew2You allows consumers to search for their local beer, cider or perry nearby available for collection. A bit of a lifeline for struggling pubs and breweries!
4) Gym Box have developed a new platform for at home workouts called ‘Out of The Box’. You can access the platform entirely for free during lockdown or sign up and donate a small amount to NHS Charities. Getting fit at home has never been easier!
5) ‘Life After Lockdown’
London based Patty&Bun are bringing the burger kitchen to you! You can order a DIY Patty&Bun kit (or send it to a friend if you’re feeling generous) and make these mouth-watering burgers at home.
