Um... ever wondered how to 3D animate a man and a motorbike together?
As we’re back WFH, our latest University of Missouri was hosted online. Unfortunately we were unable to provide the usual array of snacks and drinks however, we were still delighted to be joined by Mark Kershaw from the creative production studio, Taylor James.
Taylor James prides it’s self on reimagining content, bringing together different assets using technology and motion to create work that sparks imagination. Like many agencies, over the past 6 months they have found new ways of working, seeing an increase in the demand for digital work, in particular CGI and animation briefs.
Mark and Brendan shared some inspiring recent examples of working with the likes of Heineken, Glenfiddich and Peloton. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakdown of their work for Froneri Ice Cream, sharing the journey from the storyboard through to the process of combining layers of image to create a motion picture.
We were particularly excited by the Taylor James ‘Digital Brewery’; combining CGI and animation to create ‘thirst quenching detail’, streamlining the photography process.
All in all a great insight into the world of creating content!
